Martin Profant is a research fellow the Department of Political Philosophy and Globalization Research, Institute of Philosophy, Czech Academy of Sciences.  His research focuses on social and political philosophy. Martin Profant is a research fellow at the Department of Political Philosophy and Research on Globalization of the Institute of Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. His research focuses on social and political philosophy.  His research focuses on the problem of the nation, both within Czech philosophy and the thematization of the nation in neo-Kantianism and early critical theory.
