prof. Pavel Barša, Ph.D.

 

Pavel Barša is Research Fellow at the Department of Political Philosophy and Globalization Research, Institute of Philosophy, Czech Academy of Sciences. In his  research he  has  applied  concepts of social and political theory to subjects  such  as   new social movements, politics of memory, nationalism, political  and  intellectual history  of Central Europe and ecological crisis.  He taught at Masaryk University in Brno in 1990 – 2000 and Central European University in Budapest in 2000-2002. Since 2002 he has been teaching at Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague where he became a Professor in 2005. He was a research fellow at the Institute of International Relations in Prague (2002 – 2018) and member of the board of The Czech Journal of International Relations (2005 – 2022).
